เวิร์กช็อปภายใต้โครงการก่อสร้างอาคารไผ่ในชุมชนคลองท่อม ซึ่งจัดขึ้นระหว่างวันที่ 7–9 มกราคม พ.ศ. 2565 ดำเนินงานร่วมกันระหว่างชุมชนและสถาบันพัฒนาองค์กรชุมชน (พอช.) โดย Bamboosaurus Studio มีความภาคภูมิใจที่ได้เป็นส่วนหนึ่งเล็ก ๆ ของโครงการนี้ ซึ่งเป็นการดำเนินงานที่สอดคล้องกับแผนพัฒนาหลักของ พอช. ในพื้นที่ตำบลคลองเคียน อำเภอตะกั่วทุ่ง จังหวัดพังงา โครงการนี้ได้รับการตอบรับเป็นอย่างดีจากหลายองค์กรที่พร้อมจะร่วมแบ่งปันความรู้และความเชี่ยวชาญ เพื่อสนับสนุนการพัฒนาชุมชนในแต่ละพื้นที่
ทีมงานของเราและผู้เกี่ยวข้องได้ให้ความสำคัญกับการก่อสร้างในพื้นที่ชุมชนคลองท่อม ซึ่งเป็นพื้นที่ที่ไม่เหมาะสมกับการก่อสร้างแบบถาวร เช่น การใช้เหล็กหรือคอนกรีต ด้วยเหตุนี้ การเลือกใช้วัสดุธรรมชาติเพื่อลดผลกระทบต่อสิ่งแวดล้อมและตอบโจทย์ข้อจำกัดด้านกรรมสิทธิ์ที่ดินจึงเป็นสิ่งสำคัญ และไผ่ก็กลายเป็นวัสดุทางเลือกที่เหมาะสม
เป้าหมายของกิจกรรมครั้งนี้คือ:
สร้างความเข้าใจเกี่ยวกับการก่อสร้างโดยใช้วัสดุธรรมชาติ
เปิดโอกาสในการพัฒนาอาชีพผ่านการแปรรูปไผ่
สร้างอาคารอเนกประสงค์สำหรับใช้ในชุมชน
ภายในระยะเวลา 5 วัน 4 คืน เราได้ออกแบบกิจกรรมให้สอดคล้องกับความต้องการของชุมชนอย่างใกล้ชิด เริ่มต้นจากการให้ความรู้เบื้องต้นเกี่ยวกับไผ่ ครอบคลุมถึงชนิด การใช้งาน ข้อควรระวัง และข้อมูลทั่วไปอื่น ๆ
ต่อมา ผู้เข้าร่วมได้ร่วมทำกิจกรรมการออกแบบอาคารไผ่ในรูปแบบจำลองขนาดเล็ก โดยแบ่งชาวบ้านและทีมงานออกเป็น 4 กลุ่ม ซึ่งแต่ละกลุ่มได้ออกแบบตามความสนใจหรือมุมมองของตนเอง
ในช่วงสุดท้ายของกิจกรรม ชุมชนได้ร่วมกันก่อสร้างอาคารไผ่จริงหลังแรกของชุมชน การร่วมแรงร่วมใจของคนในพื้นที่และทีมงานของเรานำไปสู่ผลงานที่เกิดขึ้นจริง
ผลลัพธ์ของโครงการนี้เกินความคาดหมายของเรา อาคารที่เกิดขึ้นกลายเป็นพื้นที่ต้นแบบที่เปิดโอกาสให้ชุมชนได้มองเห็นอนาคตและโอกาสที่ไผ่สามารถสร้างได้ มีชาวบ้านท่านหนึ่งกล่าวไว้ว่า “ผลลัพธ์ที่ดีอาจไม่ได้เกิดขึ้นในทันที แต่จะเกิดขึ้นได้หากชุมชนรวมใจกัน” โดยเฉพาะบทบาทของเยาวชนในครั้งนี้มีความสำคัญมาก การมีส่วนร่วมของพวกเขาอาจเป็นตัวกำหนดอนาคตของชุมชนได้
อาคารหลังนี้เป็นสิ่งที่ชุมชนจะมองเห็นอยู่ทุกวัน และอาจนำไปสู่การเปลี่ยนแปลงเชิงบวกในตัวบุคคลที่ได้ร่วมโครงการ
The workshop under the Bamboo Building Construction Project in the Khlong Thom community, in collaboration with the Community Organization Development Institute (CODI), took place from January 7th to 9th, 2022. Bamboosaurus Studio was honored to be a small part of this initiative that complements the main development plan of CODI in the surrounding areas of Tambon Khlong Khian, Amphoe Takua Thung, Phang Nga. The project received positive responses from various organizations ready to contribute their knowledge and expertise to benefit the development of each community.
Our organization and related individuals focused on the aspect of construction in the Khlong Thom community, recognizing it as an area unsuitable for permanent structures (such as steel and concrete). Therefore, choosing natural materials to minimize environmental impact and address land ownership issues became crucial, and bamboo emerged as a suitable alternative.
The goals of our activity were to:
Foster understanding of construction using natural materials.
Create opportunities for vocational development through bamboo processing.
Construct a multi-purpose building for the community.
With a duration of 5 days and 4 nights, we designed activities closely aligned with the community’s needs. Initially, we provided basic lectures on bamboo, covering bamboo varieties, applications, precautions, and overall information.
Next, participants engaged in a model-making activity where they designed small-scale bamboo buildings. The community members and our team were divided into four groups, each designing a structure based on their preferences or perspectives.
In the final phase, the community came together to construct an actual bamboo building. The cooperation of the community and our team resulted in the first bamboo structure in the community.
The outcome exceeded our expectations, providing a platform for community members to consider the future and potential benefits of bamboo. One community member expressed that positive results may not occur immediately; it depends on the unity of the community. Youth participation was crucial in this instance, and their involvement in the project may shape the future. The community now has a tangible structure that they will see every day, potentially leading to positive transformations for individuals involved in the project.
