โครงการนี้ริเริ่มโดยการบริหารจัดการการท่องเที่ยวโดยชุมชน Community-based Tourism Training of Trainers (CBT-TOT) โดยทำงานร่วมกับชุมชน และค้นพบว่ามีบ่อน้ำพุร้อนที่ถูกทิ้งร้างอยู่ ซึ่งควรได้รับการส่งเสริมให้เป็นที่รู้จักมากขึ้นในด้านการท่องเที่ยว โครงการนี้พร้อมด้วยองค์กรต่าง ๆ ได้ให้ความสำคัญกับการใช้ประโยชน์จากน้ำพุร้อนและทรัพยากรธรรมชาติเพื่อประโยชน์ของชุมชน
อาจารย์เดชา เตียงเกตุ จาก Bamboo Family ได้รับเชิญมาให้ความรู้และแลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้เกี่ยวกับไผ่และงานก่อสร้างร่วมกับชุมชน นอกจากนี้ เรายังได้มีโอกาสร่วมงานกับ Banjerd – Atelier ซึ่งเป็นบริษัทในเครือข่ายของ Bamboo Family รวมถึงตัวแทนจาก Jaibaan Studio และทีมสถาปนิกจากประเทศเมียนมา คือ Rangoon Design Studio เพื่อร่วมกันก่อสร้างอาคารสำหรับชุมชน และเข้าร่วมในโครงการนี้ด้วย
Bamboosaurus มีความยินดีเป็นอย่างยิ่งที่ได้มีส่วนร่วมในกิจกรรมที่เป็นประโยชน์แก่ชุมชนนี้ และหวังเป็นอย่างยิ่งว่าโครงการที่ดีเช่นนี้จะได้รับการสานต่อในอนาคต ทั้งในแง่ของการแบ่งปัน การแลกเปลี่ยน และการให้ความรู้
This project was founded by (CBT-TOT) Community-based Tourism Training of Trainers working with the community and found there’s an abandon hot spring which should be more proclaimed regarding the tourism purposes. The project with organizations are taking concern about utilizing the hot spring and natural resources for the community. Professor Decha from Bamboo Family was invited to educate and exchange the knowledge about bamboo and construction with the community. Moreover, we have been a part of working with Banjerd – Atelier, which is Bamboo Family’s affiliated company,Representative from Jaibaan studio and the architecture team from Myanmar,Rangoon Design Studio, to build a building for the community and participated with this project. With our pleasure, Bamboosaurus has been a part of this advantageous event for the community and hopefully, the effective projects will continuously share, exchange and educate in the future again.
